LEVEL 1: THE EMPTY MORNING
Your empty 10 a.m. could be a homeschool PE class.
PE Block helps Florida pilates, yoga, barre and dance studios run a ten-week kids' PE class on a weekday morning, taught by their own instructor. Homeschool families can pay with their PEP scholarship. We do the provider paperwork, the invoices and your payouts.
Not affiliated with or endorsed by Step Up For Students or any state agency.
THE PROBLEM
Mornings are dead. The money that could fill them comes with paperwork.
Most boutique studios are busy before work and after work. Between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on a weekday, the room and the instructor you already have are mostly waiting.
Homeschooled kids are free exactly then, and in Florida many of their families hold a Personalized Education Program (PEP) scholarship that can pay for physical education: Florida's 2026-27 PEP Purchasing Guide lists sports lessons, including group training, and dance lessons as authorized P.E. expenses.
But a scholarship family can only pay a studio that is set up as a provider, has a catalog entry and a fee schedule, invoices after each service, and can wait to be paid. That is a lot of admin for ten kids. So most studios never try.
THE CHECKLIST
Can your studio run a PE Block?
Tick every line that's true for your studio today. Leave the rest. Every unticked line is a gap, and you'll see who closes it.

HOW IT WORKS
Three levels. You play one of them.
LEVEL 1: CLAIM A SLOT
Tell us your day, hour and format. We confirm the fit on a 20-minute video call and send the term agreement.
LEVEL 2: WE FILL IT
We write the catalog entry, list the block, and recruit families through homeschool co-ops. It runs once 5 children are booked.
LEVEL 3: YOU TEACH, WE BILL
Your instructor teaches the ten-week plan and taps attendance. We invoice, chase, and pay you on schedule.
PE Block never teaches, rents your room, or employs your instructor. The class is yours. The paperwork is ours.

That's why a PE Block is always a class taught by your instructor and priced per child.
Step Up For Students reports 78,617 funded PEP students in the 2025-26 school year.
Each family's purchase is reviewed by its scholarship organization. PE Block has not been approved as a provider by any scholarship organization yet, and we'll tell early-access studios exactly where that stands before anything is listed.

Questions
Is PE Block approved by Step Up For Students?
Not yet. PE Block isn't approved by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Step Up For Students or any state agency. Florida's PEP Purchasing Guide lists sports lessons (including group training) and dance lessons as authorized physical-education expenses. Whether a particular class is approved is decided by the family's scholarship organization. We'll tell early-access studios exactly where our registration stands before anything is listed.
Is this a room rental?
No. Florida's PEP guide prohibits paying for group rentals, and we agree with the reason: a scholarship should pay for instruction. A PE Block is a class taught by your own instructor from a written ten-week plan, priced per child. A co-op never rents your room through us.
Who pays my studio, and when?
PE Block does. Under the terms we're drafting, you're paid by bank transfer within 30 days of each five-session half of the block, whether the family paid with a scholarship or by card. Scholarship invoices are paid after the service is delivered, so the timing risk sits with us, not you.
What if a family's scholarship won't pay for a class?
That's between PE Block and the family. Families keep a card on file as a backstop, and your payout doesn't depend on it.
Do instructors need a teaching certificate?
Step Up's physical-education provider guide doesn't list a teaching credential for PE classes. We do require two things for every block: a fingerprint-based Level 2 background screening for the instructor, and written confirmation from your insurer that your policy covers minors in your classes.
What do I actually have to do?
Hold the slot for ten weeks, have your instructor teach the plan, and have them tap attendance after each class. Waivers are in your studio's name, because it's your class and your premises. Everything else (registration, the catalog entry, families, invoices, payouts) is ours.
Where are you starting?
Florida only for spring 2027: Tampa Bay first, then Orlando, Jacksonville and South Florida. If you're elsewhere in Florida, sign up anyway. We're tracking where the slots are.
I'm a franchise studio. Can I join?
Possibly, but your franchisor may need to approve new programming first. We're starting with independent studios.
