Venue Passport turns a venue's preferred-vendor list into a stitched, stamped booklet the coordinator hands to every couple on the tour. The vendors on the list fund their pages at $3 per passport. Not per lead. Not per month.
Tick each line that is true for your business today. Anything you leave unticked is a gap. Each one shows what a passport page does about it.
The gap A monthly listing is easy to pay and hard to trace. Most vendors can't tie it to a single booking, so they keep paying because stopping feels riskier.
How the passport closes it A passport page is priced by the object: $3 for each passport printed for your venue's tours. You see what each run cost and what your page did with it.
The gap The Knot Worldwide's published Terms of Purchase (last revised February 9, 2026) set a twelve-month initial term that renews automatically for further twelve-month terms unless you cancel at least ten days before the term ends. WeddingPro's vendor page lists paid tiers but publishes no prices; pricing is by quote.
How the passport closes it There is no term to renew. Each print run is its own invoice, and you approve it before it is printed. Skip a run and you owe nothing.

The gap In a lawsuit filed April 28, 2025 in federal court in California, a group of wedding vendors alleged that The Knot's paid lead-generating services produced few leads or mostly fake ones. Senator Chuck Grassley has written to the FTC about vendors' complaints three times: on March 28, 2025, October 21, 2025 and April 29, 2026. The Knot denies the allegations and says it has never sent fake leads. These are allegations, not findings.
How the passport closes it A passport has no leads to inflate. It is a printed page the venue's coordinator puts in a real couple's hands on a real tour. When a couple uses your perk code, you know where they came from.

The gap Most preferred-vendor lists are a PDF or a web page of names and links. A couple can't tell why you're there, or whether anyone paid to be.
How the passport closes it Your page carries two lines from the coordinator, in their own words, approved by you. Page one says plainly that vendors fund the booklet and that the venue receives a share, so the recommendation is honest and reads that way.
The gap “We found you on the venue's list” is often the only signal you get, and only if the couple remembers to say it.
How the passport closes it Every page has its own QR code and perk code for that venue. Your report shows passports placed, scans, stamps and perks redeemed for your page, venue by venue.
The gap A list in an email gets lost. Nothing reminds the couple that the venue sent them to you.
How the passport closes it You stamp the passport at the consult. Three vendor stamps unlock a perk the venue funds, such as an extra rehearsal hour, so couples have a reason to bring it to every meeting.
Tell us which venues already list you and what perk you'd fund for their couples. Nothing is shared with a venue unless you say so.
When six or more of a venue's listed vendors have committed, we approach the coordinator with a sample and your names. The venue chooses who is in it; no one can buy a page.
The coordinator hands a passport to every couple on the tour. Scans, stamps and perk redemptions for your page show up in your report.
A NOTE BEFORE YOU START
The vendors in this passport were chosen by Sample Venue. They fund the printing and the perks inside, and Sample Venue receives a share of what they pay. No vendor can buy a page.

The venue pays nothing and receives a disclosed 15% share of page fees, which it may decline. Couples pay nothing. One venue, one page: a vendor listed at two venues takes a page in each passport.
No. There is no public listing, no search page and no quote form. A passport exists only in the hands of couples who toured that venue.
No. The venue chooses who is in its passport, usually the vendors already on its list. The fee pays for your page, your perk mechanics and your report, not for the venue's recommendation.
No. A perk can be anything you're happy to honour: a free engagement session, a mock-up, a tasting. You can also run a page with no perk; it will say so.
Then nothing is printed and nothing is billed. We only mention your name to a venue if you tick the box that allows it.
Page one of every passport says the vendors fund the printing and the perks, and that the venue receives a share. We think a recommendation is worth more when it is honest about who paid.
They stay in the venue's stock and count toward the next run, so the next refill is smaller.
No. It is an independent early-access project, not affiliated with The Knot Worldwide, WeddingWire, WeddingPro or any venue. What this page says about The Knot comes from its own published terms and from public filings and letters, and the claims in them are allegations The Knot denies.
One metro first, chosen by where vendors sign up and name the same venues. If yours isn't first, your answers tell us where to go next.
Telling us costs nothing and commits you to nothing. You'll approve a proof and an invoice before anything is printed or billed.
We read every answer by hand. If you named a venue, we'll email you within a few days to confirm the venue and your perk. Nothing is shared with a venue unless you ticked the box, and nothing is billed until you approve a proof.
