For pool service, pool fence and landscape pros in Austin
Know about every new pool in Austin, the week it's permitted and the week it's finished.
A Monday email with two clean lists from the City of Austin's public permit records: new residential pool permits issued and pools that just passed final inspection. Addresses, builders and official record links, ready for your mailers and door hangers.
$49/month founding price. No contract. Not affiliated with the City of Austin.
New pools are your best customers. Finding them is the hard part.
A brand-new pool needs weekly service, a safety barrier, landscaping and lighting. The homeowner is choosing who to call right now, and the first good offer usually wins.
The City of Austin publishes every permit, but in a giant spreadsheet mixed with electrical, plumbing, remodel and demolition records. Pulling out the new pools each week takes time most owners don't have.
Lead sites sell you shared, pay-per-click leads. Permit data platforms are built for analysts and priced for enterprises. You just want the new pools near your route.
How it works
We pull the official records.
Every Monday we pull the past week of permits from the City of Austin's open data portal.
We keep only the new pools.
We filter to new residential pool building permits and pools that passed final inspection, and remove duplicates, repairs, remodels, demolitions and cancelled permits.
You get two lists by email.
One email and one CSV file, in your inbox Monday morning, readable in a minute.
What's in every Monday email
- New pool permits issued in the City of Austin last week
- Pools that passed final inspection last week, the moment owners start looking for weekly service
- Street address, ZIP code and council district
- Permit number, issue date and final inspection date
- The project description as filed (for example "fiberglass inground pool and deck")
- The pool builder's company name and business phone from the permit
- A link to each official City permit record
- A CSV file for mail-merge, route mapping or your CRM

Coverage: permits issued by the City of Austin (full-purpose and limited-purpose jurisdiction). Pools permitted by other cities such as Lakeway, Bee Cave, Cedar Park or Round Rock are not included. We don't include homeowner names or phone numbers.
Two lists, two kinds of timing
New permits: get there early
Best for fence and barrier installers, landscapers, lighting and patio pros. Construction often takes several months, so you have time to make your pitch while plans are still being made.
Finished pools: get there first
Best for pool service routes. When a pool passes final inspection, the owner needs weekly service now. Reach them with a mailer or door hanger that week.

Questions
Where does the data come from?
From the City of Austin's open data portal, which publishes issued construction permits as public-domain government data. We filter, clean and format it. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the City of Austin.
Which areas are covered?
Permits issued by the City of Austin, including its limited-purpose jurisdiction. Pools permitted by other cities, such as Lakeway, Bee Cave, Cedar Park, Round Rock or Georgetown, are not included yet. If you need another city, tell us in the form.
Do you include homeowner names or phone numbers?
No. Each row has the property address, permit details, the pool builder's business contact as listed on the permit, and a link to the official record. We recommend reaching owners by mail or door hanger.
How accurate is it?
It is only as accurate as the City's records, which can change and may differ from official department files. We filter carefully and check samples by hand, and every row links to the official record so you can verify it. The list is provided as-is.
Why both new permits and finished pools?
They are different moments. A new permit means a pool is about to be built, which suits fence, landscape and lighting pros. A final inspection means the pool is done, which is when owners look for weekly service.
Can my competitors get the same list?
Yes. Every subscriber gets the same public-record list. What matters is reaching the owner first with a good offer. If you are interested in ZIP-code exclusivity in the future, mention it in the form.
How do I pay and cancel?
After you ask to subscribe, we email you a secure payment link. Billing is monthly ($49) or yearly ($399), and you can cancel anytime from the link in your receipt. No contract.
What rules apply when I contact homeowners?
You are responsible for following do-not-call, anti-spam, HOA and local solicitation rules. Mail and door hangers are the simplest options; door hangers go on doors, never in mailboxes.
